Cookie Notice

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide functionality such as remembering you when you sign in.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function, plus advertising measurement cookies when we run paid campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Advertising measurement cookies are non-essential and require your consent.

We do not use:

• Third-party analytics tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Cookies that follow your behaviour across unrelated websites for advertising
• Cookies that build a behavioural profile to retarget you with unrelated ads

• Supabase authentication cookie — set when you register or sign in via the one-time email link. It keeps you signed in so you can access gated pages (the ebook and journey buy pages). Removed when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
• Cloudflare functional cookies — small cookies set by our DNS and security provider to help deliver the site reliably and protect against abuse. These are not used for tracking.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless by design. It collects aggregate page-view counts and basic device-type information using a privacy-preserving hash that does not identify individual visitors. No consent banner is required for this because no personal data is processed and no cookies are set.

When we run paid campaigns on Facebook or Instagram, we use the Meta Pixel(operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) so that we can measure whether our ads led to registrations or purchases. Without this, we have no way to tell which ads are effective and we would waste money on ads that don't work.

The Meta Pixel sets the following first-party cookies on this domain:

• _fbp — identifies your browser session for ad attribution. Expires after 90 days.
• _fbc — set only if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad. Stores the click identifier so Meta can match your visit to the ad you saw. Expires after 90 days.

We also use Meta's Conversions API, a server-to-server version of the Pixel. This sends the same events (e.g. a registration completed, a purchase made) directly from our server to Meta. The Conversions API does not set cookies on your device. Your email address and first name are hashed using SHA-256 (one-way encrypted) before being sent, so Meta receives a fingerprint rather than your raw details.

Data shared with Meta via these tools:

• Pages you viewed on starthealingjourney.co
• Whether you clicked a buy button, completed registration, or completed a purchase
• Your hashed email address and first name (one-way)
• Your IP address and browser user agent
• The price and currency of any purchase

Meta processes this data under its Business Tools Terms and privacy policy. Meta and Healing Journey are joint controllers for this measurement activity, as set out in Meta's Controller Addendum. You have the right to opt out at any time (see “Managing Cookies” below).

When you click through to the Payhip checkout to complete a purchase, Payhip will set its own cookies on its domain. Their privacy and cookie policies govern that activity:

We do not control how Payhip uses cookies on their checkout pages.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

• View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
• Block all cookies from a specific site
• Block all cookies from any site
• Set a Do Not Track preference

Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the sign-in flow from working — you won't be able to access the gated buy pages without the authentication cookie.

Opting out of Meta Pixel specifically: you can manage your ad preferences and opt out of Meta's use of off-Facebook activity for advertising at accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences. You can also block the Pixel at the browser level by enabling tracking protection in Firefox, Safari, or Brave, or by installing a tracker-blocking extension such as uBlock Origin.

We may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or relevant regulations. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
